Agenda of the International Scientific Conference: from the reduction of gas emissions to the crater in Darvaza

 The issues of reducing emissions into the environment in the context of hydrocarbon development, including possible solutions to the gas crater in Darvaza, will be discussed at the International Scientific Conference, which will be held on June 23 this year at the Yyldyz Hotel in the capital.

 The forum is organized by the State Concerns «Turkmengas» and «Turkmennebit» in partnership with the «Turkmen Forum» with the support of the British company «GaffneyCline».

 As noted on the website of the organizers, the upcoming conference is being held to bring together leading experts, researchers and professionals in the field of energy to share experiences and research results on all aspects of reducing emissions into the environment and green energy technologies.

 The forum will discuss issues such as innovative technologies and know-how in the production of hydrocarbons and reduction of associated gas emissions, new era energy projects, possible solutions for the Darvaza gas crater, international experience and initiatives, existing areas of technical support and new  opportunities for environmental and climate finance available for the energy sector of Turkmenistan and others.

 It is expected that the conference will be attended by the leaders of the energy industry of Turkmenistan and representatives of both state organizations of Turkmenistan and leading international organizations, as well as major international financial institutions.

 In addition to the traditional format of the forum, an online broadcast will be organized on the Zoom Professional platform.
