 President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of his landslide victory in the presidential elections in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 “The voting results indicate a high level of trust and support of the people of Azerbaijan for the course you are pursuing, aimed at strengthening statehood and the socio-economic development of the country,” noted in the message of Serdar Berdimuhamedov, published today in the central media of Turkmenistan.

 The President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that “this important event will contribute to the further development of the Republic of Azerbaijan and improve the well-being of its citizens”.

 “It is gratifying to note the effective nature of fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and we are confident that in the future these relations will further develop and deepen for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.  We express our gratitude for your personal attention and great support in the development of good neighborly relations between our countries,” the message of the President of Turkmenistan emphasizes.

 Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed sincere wishes to Ilham Aliyev for good health, happiness and success in his responsible activities as head of state, and to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan – peace, prosperity and prosperity.
