International level events will be held at IOGU in April

 The International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakaev will become the center for a number of international events in April this year.  This was reported at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, which President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held via a digital system last Friday.

 In particular, it was noted that in April the II Open International Olympiad in Informatics among university students will be organized at the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakaev.  On April 19, the same university will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference and Exhibition “Scientific Views of Students in the Renaissance Era of a New Era of a Powerful State”.

 The upcoming events are planned in a series of other events in which educational institutions of Turkmenistan will take part.  Thus, in March, the International Olympiad among schoolchildren will be held in the specialized educational complex No. 1 of the city of Arkadag, and the IV Open International Olympiad in Mathematics among students will be held at the International University of Humanities and Development.

 After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the steady implementation of the tasks defined in the concepts for the development of the national education system.  In this regard, it was instructed to hold at a high level the first International Mathematical Olympiad among schoolchildren in the city of Arkadag, open International Olympiads in mathematics and computer science among students at the International University of Humanities and Development and the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakaev.

 The International Scientific and Practical Conference and Exhibition “Scientific Views of Students in the Renaissance Era of a New Age of a Powerful State” should also be organized at the proper level, the President noted.
