Consulting on projects of production facilities in the “smart” city of Arkadag entrusted to a German company

 The President of Turkmenistan signed a resolution allowing the State Committee for the Construction of the Smart City of Arkadag to conclude a contract for the provision of consulting services with the German company Goetzpartners Emerging Markets GmbH.

 German experts will provide consulting on construction projects in the industrial zone of the city of state importance Arkadag of enterprises for the production of food, industrial, pharmaceutical and medical products.

 Last Sunday, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the head of the consulting company Goetzpartners Emerging Markets GmbH, Vladimir Mathias, and its senior consultant, Hans Gerd Predel.

 During the meeting, issues of further cooperation on the construction of industrial facilities as part of the construction of the second stage of the city of Arkadag were discussed.  A German company won an international tender to provide consulting services for the creation of a medical cluster in the smart city of Arkadag.

 An international medical cluster, which will be created in the city of Arkadag, plans to produce various types of medical products not only for the domestic market, but also for export.  The use of available local raw materials will make it possible to produce environmentally friendly, high-quality products, which will help strengthen the economy of Turkmenistan and play an important role in the development of Turkmen-German relations, the company’s management emphasized, assuring that consulting services will be provided at a high level.

 It was also stated that Turkmenistan has created all the necessary legal conditions to strengthen the position of German business in the promising Turkmen market.

 As part of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan and the German consulting company Goetzpartners Emerging Markets GmbH.
