Since the beginning of this year, the «Nebitgasduypliabatlayysh» Trust of the State Concern «Turkmennebit» has carried out major repairs of 436 oil and gas wells, which is 70 units more than planned.  The main areas of work took place at the large fields of Goturdepe, Gamyshlydzha and Barsagelmez, the Turkmenistan newspaper reports.

Major repairs and subsequent modernization of the pumping process contributed to a noticeable increase in black gold production.  The above-planned volumes amounted to about 176 thousand tons of oil, which is almost 13 thousand tons more than last year.

And at the Gamyshlydzha field, the trust’s specialists managed to restore the operation of wells in a quantity twice as large as originally planned.  At the oldest oil and gas field, Goturdepe, overhauls were carried out on almost two hundred wells.
