At the auction of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, 53 transactions were registered last week.
Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene for foreign currency, developed at the technological installations of the State Concern «Turkmennebit». Carbamide and liquefied gas manufactured by SC «Turkmenchemistry» became the subject of deals of businessmen from Turkey and Afghanistan. Also, textile production, harsh and denim, cotton yarn, regenerated fiber were sold for foreign currency. Buying countries: UAE, Turkey, Republic of Ireland, Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 29 million 492 thousand US dollars.
Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene (SC «Turkmennebit»), handmade carpets, assorted textiles and harsh fabric totaling over 22.5 million 514 thousand manats for the domestic market.
