The results of the work of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan for ten months were summed up at a government meeting

 Last Friday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which the results of the work of economic sectors for ten months of the current year were summed up, drafts of a number of documents were reviewed and priority tasks of the country’s socio-economic development were discussed.

 In particular, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of work carried out in the oil and gas industry for 10 months of 2023.  It was reported on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production and polypropylene production.

 The Vice-Chairman said that the State Concern “Turkmennebit” has fulfilled the plan for oil supply at the level of 100 percent, for oil refining – by 100.5 percent, for the production of gasoline – by 105.5 percent, diesel fuel – by 104.6 percent, lubricants  oils – by 102.5 percent, liquefied gas – by 109.8 percent.

 During the reporting period, the plan for the production of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 108.5 percent, and for the export of “blue fuel” – by 114 percent.

 After listening to the report, the head of state focused on the need for consistent modernization of the fuel and energy complex, increasing the efficiency of oil and gas field development, increasing oil and gas production volumes, addressing a number of relevant instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
