The XXVIII International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2023” (OGT 2023), which will be held on October 25-27 in Ashgabat, takes an active position in covering the latest events related to the energy transition, being a platform for voicing expert opinions and strengthening partnerships and developing strategies.

In 2007, a Production Sharing Agreement was signed for the contract territory “Bagtyyarlyk” and a contract for the purchase and sale of natural gas between the State Concern “Turkmengas” and CNPC. In August of the same year, a project for the development of a field on the right bank of the Amu Darya River was officially launched.
The project is being implemented in the contract territory of Bagtyyarlyk, which includes sections A and B. During the work carried out, pipelines, a gas collection station, a general gas collection station, a purification plant were built, and the pumping of commercial natural gas into the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline was established.
