At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 51 transactions were registered last week.
Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased for foreign currency polypropylene and liquefied gas produced at the technological installations of the SC “Turkmennebit”, as well as ECO-93 gasoline and polypropylene products produced by the SC “Turkmenchemistry”.
Also, entrepreneurs from the UAE, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan purchased an assortment of terry products, cotton fabric and yarn using foreign currency.
The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 93 million 919 thousand US dollars.
Domestic businessmen purchased products produced by the SC “Turkmennebit” for the domestic market, in particular, polypropylene, substandard polypropylene “Turkmenaglomerate”, ordinary packaging and mother-of-pearl films. The total amount of transactions amounted to over 27 million 23 thousand manats.
