President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was solemnly presented with the Arkadag medal

 On Tuesday, the Day of Health Workers and the Medical Industry of the country, a ceremony was held at the Oguzkhan Palace complex to award the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the Arkadag medal.  The solemn event was attended by the chairman of the country’s Mejlis, deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, TDH reports.

 Chairman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova read out the decision of the national parliament to award President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the Arkadag medal.

 This state award of Turkmenistan was established with the aim of broadly supporting humane initiatives, respect for the achievements, accumulated experience, and international authority of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for providing assistance to children in need of care.

 Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded this high award for providing legal guarantees for the protection and legitimate interests of the people, implementing a set of organizational, legal and economic measures aimed at adapting children in society who need special care and social support, special merits in the development of charitable activities, implementation in the country  the principles of humanism, justice and mutual assistance, constant support for the activities of the Charitable Foundation to provide assistance to children in need of care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

 The Chairman of the Mejlis solemnly presented the President of Turkmenistan with the “Arkadag” medal.

 Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed heartfelt gratitude for the presentation of the high state award of Turkmenistan, noting that he considers this an assessment of charitable activities based on national traditions.  Through the efforts of the national leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Foundation carries out noble humanitarian activities.  The country is building residential buildings for those in special need, the head of state emphasized, assuring that the government, together with the Fund, will continue this work in the future.

 Speaking during the ceremony, Vice-Chairman and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov congratulated the head of state on the award, noting that one of the priorities of the domestic and foreign state policy of Turkmenistan is its humanistic orientation.  In this regard, it was noted that the head of state is doing a lot of work to provide social benefits to the country’s citizens and create the most favorable living conditions.

Global demand for oil will grow until 2028, – IEA
