The friendly visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag, to the People’s Republic of China was a significant diplomatic event in 2026, being held under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”.
The visit opened a new stage in the development of Turkmen-Chinese relations, the strengthening of the strategic partnership between the two countries and the expansion of economic cooperation, particularly in the energy sector.
