Turkmenistan is ready to consider proposals for the implementation of new projects in the development of the chemical and oil and gas industries, in particular, to increase the production of phosphorus, ammonia, urea and gasoline from natural gas. This was discussed at a meeting between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the senior adviser on strategic issues of the Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. Tatsuya Watanabe, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of independence, reports the information program “Watan” of Turkmen television.
Watanabe cordially congratulated the head of state on accepting the title of Hero of Turkmenistan and the main holiday of the country, addressing his best wishes to the President of the country and the people of Turkmenistan.
Thanking for the congratulations, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is always open to effective business interaction with interested leading and foreign partners.
Mutually beneficial partnerships with the largest world-famous Japanese companies, which have been successfully operating in the Turkmen market for many years, have received particular development in recent years. In this way, a fruitful partnership between Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. has achieved in partnership with the State Concerns “Turkmenchemistry” and “Turkmengas” for the construction of production complexes.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that Turkmenistan is interested in developing the chemical and oil and gas industries. In particular, the production of phosphorus, ammonia, urea and gasoline from natural gas has been increased.
During the conversations, Watanabe showed the readiness for further cooperation with Turkmenistan. At the final meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the further continuation of the establishment of productive fruitful cooperation.
