President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the title of Hero of Turkmenistan

On Sunday, during a meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, a solemn ceremony was held to award President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the highest degree of distinction – the title of Hero of Turkmenistan with the presentation of the gold sign “Altyn Aý”.
Speaker of the national parliament Dunyagozel Gulmanova read out the resolution of the Mejlis on awarding President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the title of Hero of Turkmenistan.
According to the document, the head of state was awarded the title Hero of Turkmenistan for his enormous personal contribution to strengthening the foundations of the national independence of Turkmenistan, the principles of the country’s neutrality, for particularly outstanding services in the dynamic development of the state, strengthening the international authority of the Motherland with initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation, friendship and brotherhood between states and peoples, strengthening statehood, for activities carried out to enhance the glory and dignity of the Fatherland, as well as in connection with the celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan.
