On Saturday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on a digital system, at which some issues of state life were considered. 

In particular, Batyr Amanov, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, reported on the steps taken at the enterprises of the State Concern “Turkmengas”. As noted, appropriate work is being carried out to achieve the economical use of natural gas by domestic consumers of the country, further modernization of the concern’s enterprises, as well as the implementation of the tasks assigned to them to introduce advanced technologies.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that one of the key aspects of the economic strategy of Turkmenistan is the efficient and rational use of the country’s richest hydrocarbon resources. 

Noting the importance of the gas industry, which plays a significant role in creating the conditions for the progressive development of the industrial sector, ensuring the country's socio-economic growth and further improving the living conditions of the population, the head of state gave the Vice-Chairman relevant instructions.
