The President of Azerbaijan discussed key aspects of cooperation with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

At the beginning of the conversation, the minister conveyed greetings and best wishes to the President of Azerbaijan on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the meeting, key aspects of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the trade and economic, energy and transport and communications spheres. The importance of joint projects that contribute to the development of the two countries was emphasized.
The parties expressed confidence in the further development of fruitful cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan writes.
SC «Turkmengas» will sign additional agreements with CNPC to finance projects to increase gas production and exports
The State concern «Turkmengas» will sign with the Chinese company «CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Company Limited» additional agreements on financing contracts aimed at increasing the production and export of Turkmen natural gas.
