The results of the work of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan for seven months of 2023 were discussed at the industry meeting

 On August 27, a reporting meeting was held in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, at which the results of the work of enterprises in the industry for seven months of the current year, held under the motto “The Year of Happy Youth with Arkadagly Serdar”, were discussed.

 During the meeting, the tasks assigned to the oil and gas complex of the country by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on August 25, at which the results of the seven-month work of all sectors of the economy were discussed, as well as specific ways to further advance work in this  direction.

 Opening the reporting meeting, Batyr Amanov, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, emphasized that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has great confidence in the workers of the oil and gas industry.  At the same time, in order to improve the activities of the industry and its consistent development based on modern achievements, the state creates all conditions, modernizes production facilities, introduces innovative technologies, which in turn determines the specific tasks facing the domestic fuel and energy complex.

 During the meeting, the Minister of State – Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas” Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” Guvanch Agadzhanov, Chairman of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” Merdan Roziev, General Director of CJSC “Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company” Maksat Pirliev, as well as heads of associations  , departments and enterprises of the complex, which reported on the work done during the reporting period and announced tasks for the near future.

In the speeches, information was provided on the achieved technical and economic indicators in the field of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas production in the country, the development of cooperation with large oil and gas companies of foreign countries, the widespread use of the digital system in the activities of the complex, the intensification of work on the phased development of the Galkynysh gas field  ”, as well as taking into account the growing demand for natural gas in the winter, the need for preparatory work for the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to citizens, large industrial enterprises, power plants and foreign consumers was emphasized.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov stressed the importance of constant monitoring of planned and ongoing large projects in the country's oil and gas complex, the widespread introduction of modern technologies in the industry, timely and high-quality implementation of production plans.  The Vice-Chairman also outlined the specific tasks facing the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”, the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company, wishing their employees success in implementing the tasks set for the development of the oil and gas industry.

 At the reporting meeting, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues Ashyrguly Begliev noted that the dynamic development in the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan is maintained, and voiced his proposals for further increasing the pace of development of the activities of the state concerns “Turkmengas”, “Turkmennebit”, the state corporation “Turkmengeology”,  as well as CJSC “Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company”.
