SC “Turkmengeology” is working to increase the volume of oil and gas production

 Last Friday, July 28, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which some issues of state life and draft documents were considered.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the state of affairs in the oil and gas sector.

 The Vice-Chairman reported on the work carried out by the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” aimed at further increasing the volume of oil and gas production in the country.

 To this end, relevant geological surveys are currently being carried out, measures are being taken to modernize the production infrastructure, equip the industry units with modern specialized equipment.

 After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need to improve the efficiency of exploration work carried out by the State Corporation ”Turkmengeology”, which has important tasks to identify and industrial development of new promising areas rich in hydrocarbon resources, strengthen the raw material base of the fuel and energy complex.

 In this regard, great importance is attached to the active introduction of innovative technologies and advanced scientific achievements into practice, improvement of the material and technical base of the industry in accordance with the requirements of the time, development of mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners, the head of Turkmenistan said, having addressed the vice-premier with specific instructions.
