The state concern “Turkmennebit” increased oil production by 10% at the Goturdepe field in the first six months of this year, bringing this figure to more than half a million tons of “black gold”.  At the same time, 10 thousand 125 tons of oil were produced in excess of the plan.

A high production result was achieved due to the introduction of new methods of production and operation of modern technologies into drilling operations.

Along with large oil reserves, the Goturdepe field has significant volumes of gas deposits.  According to the results of six months of this year, the company’s specialists extracted about 216 million cubic meters of “blue” fuel, exceeding the target by 7%.
