In the central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan on July 15, a reporting meeting for the results of the industry's work for the past half-year, held under the motto "The Year of Happy Youth with Arkadagly Serdar" was held. During the meeting, the tasks assigned to the country's oil and gas complex by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on July 14 were discussed, and the results of the work of the branches of the national economy were summed.
Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov noted that in order to improve the activities of the industry and its consistent development on the basis of modern achievements, by the efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, all conditions have been created, production facilities have been modernized, Innovative technologies have been introduced, which in turn determines the specific tasks facing the domestic fuel and energy complex.
State Minister - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babaev, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agadzhanov, Chairmen of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology", CJSC “Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company” Maksat Pirliev, as well as heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex, who reported on the work done for the reporting period and announced tasks for the near future.
The presentators voiced information on the achieved technical and economic indicators in the field of oil and gas condensate production in the country, the diversification of the national economy, the development of cooperation with large oil and gas companies and investors in foreign countries, the wide use of the digital system in the activities complex, intensification of work on the phased development of the Galkynysh gas field, the need to control the construction of a transnational gas pipeline of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India, as well as to ensure the proper operation of production facilities in various weather conditions, improving the efficiency of gas and oil production, accelerating the pace of construction, etc.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov emphasized the importance of constant monitoring of planned and implemented large projects in the country’s oil and gas complex, the widespread introduction of modern technologies in the work of the industry, timely and high-quality implementation of production plans, ensuring technical safety measures, modernizing the activities of the fuel and energy complex, organizing courses in order to improve the qualifications of specialists.
At the end of the meeting, the Vice-Chairman wished the teams of the State Concerns "Turkmengas" and "Turkmennebit", the State Corporation "Turkmengeology", CJSC "Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company” great labor success in effective solving the tasks set in the development of the oil and gas industry.
