Ashgabat to host international scientific conference “Environmental aspects of hydrocarbon production” in June

 Preparations have begun in Turkmenistan for an international scientific conference on the topic “Environmental aspects of the production of hydrocarbon resources.”  It is scheduled for mid-June, and now the agenda of the forum is being worked out and presentation proposals are being accepted.

 “We are currently working on a draft agenda for the conference and will share it with you shortly.  In the meantime, we are accepting proposals for presentations related to the theme of the conference.  Visa support will also be offered to all foreign delegates,” the event organizers said in a statement.

 Representatives of international organizations, academic and diplomatic circles, ecologists, investors, financiers, researchers, experts and other specialists are invited to the work of the scientific forum.

 The conference is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengas”, “Turkmennebit”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” in partnership with the ES “Turkmen Forum” and the British company Gaffney Cline.

 The forthcoming conference “Environmental Aspects of Hydrocarbon Resources Production” will help, based on scientific research and best practices, to ensure the development of hydrocarbons in strict accordance with environmental requirements.
