In Turkmenistan, much attention is paid to the development of sports and mass physical culture, the professional training and comprehensive development of young athletes and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Based on this, this year, which is being held under the motto “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, competitions in various sports are regularly held.
Among them is the recently held open ice hockey championship among juniors born in 2010-2014, organized by the sports school of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports.
The team of the Oguzhan Hockey Club of the Türkmengazawtomatika Directorate of the Türkmengaz State Concern especially distinguished itself at the tournament, which won by a wide margin from its rivals.
On the way to victory, juniors from the Oguzhan HC won the match with the score of 10:2 versus Shir, the team of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan. The game versus the Burgut team ended with even greater success – 15:2. They also managed to keep the bar of success in the final match of the tournament, which was versus Galkan, the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country. And here again the game ended with a devastating score – 14:2.
It should be noted that the best striker of the tournament was the player of Oguzhan Davud Adylov.
According to the results of the matches, it is obvious that the level of training of the Oguzhan players is quite high, however, in sports, as in everything, there is no limit to perfection, which means that you can never rest on your laurels.
Young hockey players, who will play in the national team of Turkmenistan in the future, face great challenges. We believe that their biggest victories are yet to come. Our students will represent the country with honor on the international sports arena, under the proudly waving green banner of our Motherland.
