On Monday, a reporting meeting was held at the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, at which the results of the work of enterprises in the industry for the first three months of this year, held under the motto “The Year of Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, were discussed.

 During the meeting, the tasks set for the oil and gas complex of the country by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on April 15 in a digital system, at which the results of the work of the sectors of the national economy for the first quarter of 2023 were discussed.

 Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Ashyrguly Begliev emphasized that under the leadership of the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, close attention is paid to the development of the oil and gas industry, the state regularly provides support for the activities of the country’s oil and gas industry, which in turn inspires workers and specialists of the complex to new  labor success.

 At the reporting meeting, the State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas” Batyr Amanov, Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” Guvanch Agadzhanov, Chairman of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” Merdan Roziev, General Director of the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company CJSC Maksat Pirliev, as well as heads of associations,  departments and enterprises of the complex.

In the speeches, the results of the work carried out in January-March of this year were analyzed, as well as important areas for the implementation of the “Program for the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan until 2030” were discussed.

 The speakers dwelled in detail on the solution of the tasks set by the President for the enterprises of the fuel and energy complex, in particular, on increasing the productivity of oil and gas enterprises, ensuring their operation at the level of design capacity, carrying out the necessary work to implement the second stage of the development of the Galkynysh gas field, and developing new oil and gas deposits.  In the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, the implementation of large-scale projects by attracting foreign investment.

 As noted at the meeting, in recent years, in the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan, special importance has been attached to international cooperation, the introduction of best practices and innovative technologies into the system.

 During the meeting, information was announced on the preparations for the upcoming international forum on attracting foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, which will be held on April 26-27 in Dubai (UAE).  Information was also provided on the ongoing construction of the transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India.

 During the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman Ashyrguly Begliev outlined the urgent tasks facing the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”, the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company CJSC.

 In conclusion, A. Begliev wished the employees of the fuel and energy complex great labor success in fulfilling the tasks set by the head of state this year, which is held under the motto “The Year of Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”.
