A commercial flow of natural gas was obtained at the production and appraisal well No. 01 of the Yylan gas field, located in the territory of the Mary region.  This was the result of successful drilling operations carried out by specialists of the drilling teams of the management «Turkmengasburavlaiysh» of the State Concern «Turkmengas».

The drilled well gave an inflow of «blue fuel» from a depth of two thousand nine hundred and seventy meters.  According to experts, the flow rate of the well is 991.6 thousand cubic meters of natural gas per day.

It is also important that the production of the new well has a clean composition and does not contain hydrogen sulfide impurities.

The success achieved by the drillers was the result of their hard work over several months.

The drillers of the management «Turkmengasburavlaiysh» of the State Concern «Turkmengas» make a significant contribution to the timely implementation of the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan to increase natural gas production through the exploration and development of gas fields in different parts of our country.  Currently, they are successfully drilling at new gas fields in the Mary region.
