On Monday in the city of Doha, the capital of Qatar, Turkmen-Qatari summit talks will be held, where President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived on a state visit the night before.
As a result of the summit talks, it is planned to sign a package of documents aimed at intensifying bilateral partnership and enriching its content. Also during the visit, the opening ceremony of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Doha will take place.
In the conversation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with a representative of the Qatari embassy in Turkmenistan, which took place the day before in the air harbor of Ashgabat, the fruitful, trusting nature of the Turkmen-Qatari relations was emphasized.
At present, Turkmenistan and Qatar have solid resources for expanding effective partnership in various fields, increasing the volume and improving the structure of mutual trade, and implementing joint projects.
Among the promising areas of cooperation are the energy sector, trade, investment, transport and communications, industry, agriculture, high technology, business contacts.
In this aspect, a significant role is assigned to the activities of the joint Intergovernmental Commission, the next meeting of which is scheduled to be held during 2023 in Ashgabat.
