Turkmenistan's GDP growth for 11 months amounted to 6.2%

According to the results of eleven months, a stable GDP growth rate is observed in Turkmenistan, which amounted to 6.2%. This was reported at a government meeting last Friday, which discussed the results of the country's socio-economic development in January-November 2022.
“According to the results of eleven months, a stable GDP growth rate is observed, which amounted to 6.2%. Compared to the same period last year, production increased by 11%,” Vice-Chairman Hojamurad Geldimyradov said.
It was also noted that, compared with the same period in 2021, the volume of retail trade increased by 10.6%, and the volume of foreign trade turnover increased by 35.7%.
The Vice-Chairman also noted that in January-November of this year, the revenue part of the State budget was executed at the level of 119.9%, and the expenditure part – by 98.1%.
Compared to the same period last year, the average monthly wage is 10.4% higher. Wages, pensions, state allowances and student scholarships are financed in a timely manner and in full.
The volume of disbursed capital investments from all sources of financing increased by 14.1% compared to the same period in 2021.
During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that, despite the difficult situation in the global economy and the inadequate level of work in certain industries, the national economy continues to grow at a high rate.
The head of state also noted that over the 11 months of this year, production volumes have increased in almost all sectors of the country's economy. As a result of the measures taken to increase export-oriented products, the volume of deliveries of various goods abroad increased by about 50% compared to last year.
