The meeting of the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey is scheduled for December 13-14 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on Saturday, according to which "the administration of the presidential administration, together with the country's Foreign Ministry, was instructed to hold a high-level trilateral summit of Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Turkey in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on December 13-14, 2022".

Earlier, the trilateral summit of the heads of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey was planned to be held in August 2021. However, at the request of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the meeting was postponed to a later date.

As part of the upcoming summit, it is planned to sign a number of agreements aimed at developing economic cooperation between the participating countries.
