Equipment for uninterrupted gas supplies at the Dovletabat field is planned to be modernized

 During a government meeting last Friday, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shakhym Abdrakhmanov reported on the draft Resolution on the conclusion of a contract for the overhaul of gas generators of the State Concern «Turkmengas».

 As reported, it is planned to conclude a contract for the overhaul of gas generators installed at the Dovletabat-3 and Dovletabat-2A gas compressor stations of the State Concern «Turkmengas».  The implementation of this work will contribute to the uninterrupted and reliable supply of domestic and external consumers with natural gas from the Dovletabat field.

 In this context, a draft of the relevant document was submitted for consideration by the head of state.

 After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of further modernization of the gas industry, which is one of the most promising sectors of the domestic economy.  Having signed the presented Decree, the head of state gave the vice-premier relevant instructions.

 Sh. Abdrakhmanov also reported on the ongoing work on the production of lubricating oils at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries of the State Concern «Turkmennebit».  In this regard, an international tender was held for the purchase of additives of various forms required in the production of lubricants.

 Noting the importance of the active use of efficient modern technologies that ensure deep, waste-free processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, innovative methods for the production of competitive, high-quality products, as well as expanding its range, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice-Chairman to continue comprehensive work on further technical re-equipment of the TCOR enterprises.
