Results of the work of the fuel and energy complex for ten months of 2022 were discussed at a government meeting

Last Friday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of the work of the sectors of the national economic complex for ten months of 2022 were summed up. Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov reported on the results of the oil and gas industry over the past period.
Reporting on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, in particular, by the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, the Vice-Chairman said that the plan was fulfilled at the level of 100%.
In the period under review, the plan for oil refining was fulfilled at the level of 110.5%, for the production of gasoline - by 116.7%, diesel fuel - by 112.2%, polypropylene - by 120.3%, lubricating oils - by 102.9%, liquefied gas - by 107.8%.
The implementation of the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas amounted to 114.5%, for the export of "blue fuel" - 125.6%.
After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need to intensify work to develop the fuel and energy complex of the national economy. Among the urgent tasks were identified attracting investment in this sector.
Stressing the importance of accelerating the pace of construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to thoroughly analyze the ongoing work in this industry, as well as take measures for the timely implementation of plans for the development of fuel and energy complex enterprises, establishing the activities of the accountable structure at the proper level.
