International investment forum OGT – 2022 will be held on March 29-30

The International Investment Forum to attract foreign investment in the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan (OGT-2022) will be held on March 29-30, 2022. The Forum is organized by the State Concerns «Turkmennebit», «Turkmengas», «Turkmenchemistry» and the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» in partnership with the Turkmen Forum with the support of the British company GaffneyCline.
This prestigious event, which will be held both in traditional and online formats, is aimed at attracting foreign investment in the energy sector of Turkmenistan, developing and strengthening cooperation between the national oil and gas companies of Turkmenistan and international partners. As part of the first session of the Forum, a live broadcast from Dubai Expo will also be organized.
The event will be attended by representatives of the leadership of leading national and international organizations, oil and gas companies, international financial institutions such as the International Energy Agency, the International Gas Union, the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, OPEC, CNPC, Lukoil, Socar, Dragon Oil, Petronas, as well as experts who shape the future of the oil and gas industry not only in Turkmenistan, but also in the region.
Among the main topics of discussion of the Forum participants are the future of energy, the role of Turkmenistan in ensuring regional energy security, the possibilities of investment projects in the era of new energy, the role of financial institutions in supporting sustainable energy, innovative technologies and know-how in the extraction of hydrocarbons and the reduction of associated gas emissions and international cooperation in the field of processing and transportation of hydrocarbons.
Presentations and panel sessions will focus on a number of key projects, such as the further development of the Galkynysh gas field, the joint development of the Dostluk field, the construction of line D of the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline, the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, the utilization of chemical gases and other investment projects.
In addition, business meetings on the sidelines of the Forum between the top management of national companies of Turkmenistan and international partners will serve as a good platform for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.

Today, March 26, the grand opening of the Information and Analytical Center was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern "Turkmengas".
