 A conference dedicated to the historic decisions of the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan, held on February 11 this year, was organized in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan.

 The event, which was chaired by the Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shakhym Abdrakhmanov, was attended by the heads of the State Concerns «Turkmengas» and «Turkmennebit», the State Corporation «Turkmengeology», as well as workers and specialists of the country's oil and gas complex.

 Vice-Chairman Shakhym Abrakhmanov, State Minister – Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmengas» Batyr Amanov, Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmennebit» Guychgeldy Baigeldiyev, Chairman of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» Merdan Roziev, Head of the Department of IOGU Professor Nuryagdy Suvkhanov, Director of the trade union organization of the oil and gas complex  Turkmenistan Sapar Ataberdiyev, head of the committee on science, education, culture and youth policy of the Mejlis, deputy of the Mejlis Gahryman Roziev and others.

 As the speakers noted, in the modern era in Turkmenistan, the primordial national traditions of democracy, bequeathed by glorious ancestors, have received a worthy continuation.  Today, the democratic processes carried out in the country on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov have been given a qualitatively new impetus.  A vivid confirmation of this is the extraordinary meeting of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, at which decisions of historical significance were announced, in the adoption of which the people of Turkmenistan actively participated.

 It was emphasized that during the extraordinary meeting of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, in order to further the prosperity of the country, a Resolution “On approval of the Program “Revival of a new era of a powerful state: the National program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052” was adopted.

 The conference participants also noted a very important point in the President's speech.  The head of state emphasized that he places special hope in the implementation of the plans and programs being adopted on our youth.

 In his speech at the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty, the head of state noted: “I support the idea that the road to public administration at a new stage in the development of our country should be given to young leaders, brought up in a spiritual environment and in accordance with the high requirements of modernity”.

 Also during the event, speeches were heard on the tasks of developing the oil and gas industry and its modernization, implementing large projects in the future, etc.

 At the end of the conference, its participants adopted an Appeal to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

  Events dedicated to the historic decisions of the People's Council were held in all enterprises and organizations of the oil and gas complex located in Ashgabat and the velayats of our country.
