Seven-month results: development of Turkmenistan’s oil and gas complex

On August 2, a reporting meeting devoted to the seven-month results of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” was held at the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. Its participants discussed in detail the steps to implement the objectives set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the domestic fuel and energy sector at the digital sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers on August 1, at which the results of the development of national economic sectors were reviewed.
Opening the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov emphasized the high level of trust the head of state places in workers in the oil and gas industry. He noted that the country has created all the conditions for the modernization and consistent growth of the sector: production facilities are being actively upgraded, and advanced equipment, machinery and innovative technologies are being introduced. All this allows the industry to effectively respond to the current challenges facing it.
Heads of key agencies, the Chairman of the Türkmennebit State Concern Guvanch Agajanov, the State Minister – Chairman of the Türkmengaz State Concern Maksat Babayev, the Director-General of the TAPI Pipeline Company Ltd. Muhammetmurat Amanov and the Head of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation Berdymurat Amanov, then presented reports on the performance for the reporting period. They were joined by heads of relevant associations, directorates and enterprises. The speakers focused on the large-scale construction of the Serhetabat – Herat section of the TAPI pipeline, known as “Arkadagyň ak ýoly” (Arkadag’s Bright Path), emphasizing the need to carry out the work in strict compliance with international standards.
Meeting participants thoroughly analyzed the instructions for further enhancing the potential of the oil and gas sector. The development vector includes intensifying geological exploration and production drilling to discover new fields, creating comfortable conditions for specialists on the Afghan section of the gas pipeline in the Herat Province and increasing the volume and quality of produced raw materials through innovation. Additionally, priorities include diversifying export routes, strengthening mutually beneficial international partnerships and systematically improving the living conditions of industry workers.
Summing up, Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov stressed the importance of continuous monitoring of major investment projects, digitalization of production processes and the unconditional fulfillment of planned activities, taking seasonal weather conditions into consideration. After formulating specific instructions for Türkmengaz, Türkmennebit and Türkmengeologiýa, the Deputy Prime Minister wished their teams every success in implementing the state strategy of the development of the oil and gas industry.
Transactions for the export of LNG and jet fuel were entered at exchange trading
On Monday, August 22, 12 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan for a total of $5.4 million, the ORIENT news agency reported.
It is planned to increase hydrocarbon production in Balkan region

Modern Information and Analytical Center for sustainable energy development has been opened in Turkmenistan
Today, March 26, the grand opening of the Information and Analytical Center was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern "Turkmengas".
