As Turkmenistan prepares to celebrate the glorious 35th anniversary of its sacred independence, joyful news arrived regarding a new flow of natural gas obtained at the «Çemmerli» gas field, located in the Central Garagum Desert. This remarkable event has enriched the chronicle of the year «Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Determined Winged Horses» once again proving the effectiveness of the operations conducted in an industry that has embarked on a path of harmonious development.
In the modern era, as a result of the successful implementation—under the leadership of the Arkadagly Hero Serdar—of the initiatives proposed by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, aimed at the comprehensive development of the national economy, major achievements are being made in the structures of the fuel and energy complex, as in all other sectors. It should be noted that special importance is attached to strengthening the material and technical base of the industry and its development on a scientific basis.
Commissioned by the «Döwletabatgazçykaryş» Directorate of the State concern «Türkmengaz», the «Türkmengazburawlaýyş» Directorate drilled appraisal and production well No. 265 to a projected depth of 1,200 meters as part of the «Çemmerli» gas field development. Testing in the 1,114–1,110 meter interval yielded a commercial flow of natural gas exceeding 150,000 to 200,000 cubic meters per day.
This serves as further confirmation that work at the "Turkmengazburavlaysh" Directorate is conducted at a high level and that technologies are being improved using modern methods. This contributes to the successful fulfillment of the tasks set by the Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov regarding the digitalization of all sectors of the national economy and the effective use of advanced global experience.
Securing a new flow of natural gas at the «Çemmerli» field in the Central Garagum gas-bearing region is a clear result of the hard work of the industry’s specialists and workers, who are greeting the Independence Day with labor victories.
Through the exploration and development of new oil and gas fields, additional volumes of oil and natural gas are being produced in our country. This clearly demonstrates the consistent strengthening of the material and technical base of the fuel and energy complex, as well as the implementation of modern scientific achievements and innovative technologies in production.
This current success will help strengthen the Motherland's status as a major exporter of energy resources and bolster its position in the global energy market.
