An Investment Forum to be held in Ashgabat in October

The progress of preparations for the Investment Forum of Turkmenistan were discussed at a government meeting held via the digital system by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on July 24, TDH informs.
As it was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, in accordance with the Presidential Resolution, the event was planned to be held in Ashgabat in October of that year.
The Investment Forum and accompanying events will address issues of Turkmenistan’s economic development and investment attractiveness, the key areas of the industrial, fuel and energy sectors and the development of reliable transport and communications systems.
Additionally, key topics of discussion will include digital and green transformation for sustainable development, the introduction of digital financial technologies, agribusiness, the resilience of the agricultural sector in the face of climate change and environment protection.
It is also planned to organize exchanging views on the development of trade, services and public-private partnerships, areas of cooperation with reputable financial institutions and strategic vectors for economic diversification.
In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that productive work was underway in our country to attract foreign investment into the national economy and to expand international cooperation in that area. Approving the proposal to hold the Investment Forum of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat in October, the head of state addressed a number of instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.

Modern Information and Analytical Center for sustainable energy development has been opened in Turkmenistan
Today, March 26, the grand opening of the Information and Analytical Center was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern "Turkmengas".
