The President approved a proposal to develop cooperation between Turkmengeology and foreign companies

On July 24, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital format, where a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the activities of the State Corporation Turkmengeology.
As reported, measures are being taken to conduct geological exploration for rare minerals in accordance with international practice in order to ensure the rational use of the country's mineral resources. At the same time, effective cooperation with leading foreign companies is being established, which is particularly important in the search for underground resources.
In this regard, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state's consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that productive work is being carried out in the country to explore mineral resources and ensure their rational use. Having approved the proposal prepared for the purpose of establishing international cooperation in the field of searching for underground resources, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to carry out the necessary work.
