Current areas of Turkmen-Kazakh cooperation were discussed in Astana

A regular meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan was held in Astana on June 24, according to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen delegation was led by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev, and the Kazakh delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economics, investment, transport and logistics, oil and gas, agriculture, science, technology, and culture and humanitarian affairs. As noted, there is a steady positive trend in trade and economic relations between the two countries, and mutual product deliveries are growing significantly.
A Turkmen-Kazakh business forum was held on the sidelines of the Intergovernmental Commission meeting, attended by approximately 40 leading Turkmen companies and over 100 representatives of Kazakhstan's business community and development institutions.
The Kazakh side presented promising areas for expanding trade and economic cooperation. Particular attention was paid to developing the supply of mechanical engineering, metallurgy, construction, pharmaceutical, and agricultural products.
Turkmen business representatives confirmed their interest in further expanding partnerships with Kazakh companies and implementing joint projects in priority areas.
During the event, a package of cooperation documents was signed between the relevant agencies of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, including in e-commerce and investment and construction activities.
The parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening the partnership between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, expanding industrial cooperation, implementing digital solutions, and intensifying interaction between the business communities of the two countries.
Transactions for the export of LNG and jet fuel were entered at exchange trading
On Monday, August 22, 12 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan for a total of $5.4 million, the ORIENT news agency reported.

Today, March 26, the grand opening of the Information and Analytical Center was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern "Turkmengas".
