A celebratory event dedicated to Turkmen-Chinese friendship was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University (IOGU)

During the meeting, presentations were made on the main areas of strategic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China. These included the 20th anniversary of strategic cooperation in the gas industry, the opening of the Lu Ban Workshop in Turkmenistan at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, the signing of the Agreement on the Establishment of the Turkmen-Chinese Energy Training Center, and the recent launch of Phase 4 of the Galkynysh gas field.

The speakers expressed gratitude for the training opportunities created for the younger generation at the Lu Ban Workshop in Turkmenistan. Equipped with modern equipment, the center is a shining example of the successful development of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of the Memorandum signed in 2023 to develop international cooperation in scientific and educational fields, as well as the projects implemented within its framework. The agreement on the establishment of the Turkmen-Chinese Energy Training Center, signed on April 16, 2026, also demonstrates the effective development of cooperation in this area.

The conference included performances by creative groups.
