34 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Georgia purchased polypropylene and base oil produced at the processing facilities of the State Concern Turkmennebit for foreign currency.

Denim products, regenerated fiber from textile waste, cotton fabric and yarn, karakul wool, and wheat flour were also sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries were the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Estonia, and Kyrgyzstan.

The total transaction value exceeded $9 million.

Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene and base oil (Turkmennebit), industrial sulfur produced at the SC Turkmengas, non-distilled crude fatty acids from cotton soapstock, dyed terry cloth, silk and cotton fabric, and wheat flour for the domestic market. The total transaction value exceeded 229,413,000 manats.
