Fuel and energy products were sold at exchange auctions on foreign and domestic markets

31 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Business representatives from Afghanistan and Turkey purchased liquefied gas produced at the processing facilities of the State Concern Turkmennebit, as well as urea produced by the State Concern Turkmenchemistry, for foreign currency.

Wheat flour, raw fabric, men's trousers and shirts, cotton yarn, cotton fiber, rolled wool, Portland cement, and dry licorice extract were also sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries included the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Serbia, and Kyrgyzstan.

The total value of the transactions exceeded $37,801,000.

Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene and base oil (Turkmennebit), as well as cotton yarn and wheat flour, for the domestic market. The total value of these transactions exceeded 48,506,000 manats.
