President approves proposals for training highly qualified personnel for the Oil and Gas Complex

On January 23, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital system, where a number of issues of state life were considered, reports TDH.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the ongoing activities for training specialists with international experience for the oil and gas complex.
As reported, the world's best practices and digital system capabilities are being widely introduced in the country's fuel and energy sector, with special importance attached to the training of highly qualified personnel.
In this regard, the Vice-Chairman presented a corresponding proposal for the consideration of the head of state.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that effective work is being carried out in our country to train professional specialists with international experience for the oil and gas complex. Approving the presented proposal, he instructed the Vice-Chairman to carry out the necessary work.

Turkmenistan is the largest player in the Asian oil and gas market. The country's hydrocarbon resources are estimated at more than 71 billion tons of oil equivalent, of which more than 20 billion tons of oil and more than 50 trillion cubic meters of natural gas. In January-November 2021, Uzbekistan imported 141.2 million liters of motor gasoline from Turkmenistan. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan. Thus, Turkmenistan ranks second in the supply of motor gasoline to the neighboring country.

Since the opening of the transnational Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline in 2009, over 320 billion cubic meters of Turkmen gas have been exported to the Celestial Empire.
