The President of Turkmenistan has ordered measures to increase oil production

On November 28, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the measures being implemented by the State Concern Turkmennebit to increase oil production.
As reported, work in this direction is underway at oil fields and platforms. As a result, new production wells drilled at the Uzynada field have produced gas condensate, which is connected to the main oil pipeline system. Additional volumes of hydrocarbons have also begun to arrive. This fact clearly demonstrates the potential of this field and its enormous importance for increasing oil production.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the country is undertaking targeted work to modernize the material and technical infrastructure of the oil and gas sector.
In this regard, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to continue the effective development of hydrocarbon-rich oil and gas fields and take measures to increase oil production.
Transactions for the export of LNG and jet fuel were entered at exchange trading
On Monday, August 22, 12 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan for a total of $5.4 million, the ORIENT news agency reported.
It is planned to increase hydrocarbon production in Balkan region
In the Balkan region, a key region in the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan, it is planned to increase natural gas production to 11 billion cubic meters per year by 2025.
