Turkmenistan assumed chairmanship of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia

Turkmenistan will make every effort to strengthen unity, cohesion, and economic partnership in Central Asia. This was stated by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Tashkent, accepting the chairmanship of this high-level political event from Uzbekistan on behalf of his country.
"By assuming the chairmanship of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, Turkmenistan will make every effort to strengthen our unity, cohesion, and economic partnership, the region's attractiveness for significant foreign investment, and the implementation of large-scale international projects in energy, transport, communications, and other areas," Berdimuhamedov said. His speech was published on the TDH website.
The President of Turkmenistan also congratulated Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan's accession to this format as a full member.
In conclusion of his speech, Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the fraternal peoples of our countries peace, well-being, and prosperity.
