The 18th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference "Türkmentel – 2025" and the International Conference and Exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development – 2025" have been underway in Ashgabat since November 12.

On the sidelines of the forum, Yevgeny Balychev, Head of NOKIA's Caspian and Central Asian Office, discussed prospects for cooperation with Turkmen partners, including in the energy sector, according to the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

According to Balychev, preparations are currently underway to expand 5G (fifth generation) coverage in Turkmenistan and provide these services. The expert noted that the use of fifth-generation standards will also positively impact the development of Turkmenistan's economic sectors, including the fuel and energy sector.

"The energy sector requires stability in the operational activities of its enterprises". "Consequently, uninterrupted communication is a crucial element in this sector, given that mining operations are located in remote locations. Our company is capable of implementing projects related to video surveillance of facilities, as well as technical support for various logistics and navigation services," said the head of the regional office of NOKIA.

He believes that Turkmenistan's digital market is absolutely ready for renewal. "Now is the ideal time to develop our partnership with Altyn Asyr as deeply as possible, offering our services to government organizations, hydrocarbon companies, and logistics centers. We are ready for fruitful cooperation", Balychev concluded.
