Speaking at the Summit, the President of Turkmenistan noted that cooperation within the C5+1 format is designed to promote the sustainable development of the region.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked Donald Trump for the invitation to participate in the Central Asia + US Summit and noted the positive progress achieved since the establishment of this partnership format.

Our country strives to expand cooperation in strategically important areas such as security, economics, energy, and environmental protection, the Turkmen leader emphasized.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the Summit's outcomes would contribute to the further expansion of the multilateral partnership between Central Asia and the United States.

During the Summit, key issues of common interest to all parties within the six-format partnership were discussed at the highest level, and priority areas for future joint activities were identified.

During the Summit, a Statement of Intent on Economic Cooperation between the governments of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and the United States, as well as a Statement of Intent on Cultural Heritage between the governments of these countries, were adopted.

As TDH notes, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's participation in the "Central Asia + USA" Summit reaffirmed the Turkmen state's commitment to the principles of positive neutrality and multilateral cooperation. At the same time, it demonstrated that our country considers this platform an important mechanism for advancing national and regional interests.

By focusing the international community's attention on issues such as transport connectivity, energy security, and environmental sustainability, Turkmenistan is making a significant contribution to addressing pressing global agenda issues and strengthening its position in the region as a transit and energy hub.
