The International Conference and Exhibition “Turkmenistan Oil and Gas–2025” was organized at a high level. This was my first visit to Turkmenistan. We were deeply impressed by the hospitality and cordiality of the Turkmen people. The white-marble city of Ashgabat is striking in its beauty, cleanliness and vibrant architectural solutions.
Turkmenistan, with its enormous hydrocarbon resources, uses its natural wealth not only to ensure national interests but also to promote the well-being of the peoples of the region and the world, which makes it one of the most reliable and loyal partners in this area. The Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India transnational gas pipeline is a vivid example of this. As is well known, a ceremony was recently held to mark the launch of the next stage of the Serhetabat–Herat gas pipeline, known as “Arkadagyň ak ýoly”, during which the National Leader of the Turkmen people delivered a speech and blessed the start of construction. This became a historic event playing a significant role in the destinies of peoples.
We would like to express our gratitude to the esteemed President of Turkmenistan and the Hero-Arkadag for Turkmenistan’s enormous contribution to supporting sustainable development in the region and around the world, for the invitation to visit sunny Turkmenistan and to participate in the international forum and for the warm and cordial welcome.
