48 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan purchased aviation kerosene and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the processing facilities of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” for foreign currency.
Bedding sets, assorted terry products, flannel, cotton yarn, and licorice root extract were also sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries included the UAE, Turkey, Serbia, and Kyrgyzstan.
The total transaction value exceeded $47,102,000.
For the domestic market, local businessmen purchased base oil, total petroleum coke, and polypropylene produced by the SC “Turkmennebit”, as well as terry products, cotton yarn, denim and cotton fabric, and licorice root extract for a total of over 153 million 223 thousand manats.
