Serdar Berdimuhamedov: Turkmenistan Investment Forum is of paramount importance for enhancing the country's industrial potential

Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2025, which opened on September 18 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
"The Investment Forum is of paramount importance for enhancing our country's industrial potential, attracting investment, creating new production facilities for goods in high demand on global markets, and implementing priority programs to expand the capacity of existing enterprises," the President said in a statement published on the TDH website.
"I am firmly confident that this event in Avaza will contribute to the further industrialization and socioeconomic development of the regions, the introduction of modern technologies in industry, the active promotion of the digital economy, and the attraction of investment," the head of state emphasized.
The President noted that this annual event is being held "to expand fruitful ties with foreign investors, businessmen, international financial and banking institutions, as well as government agencies and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan”.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov added that forum participants "will be provided with ample opportunities to learn about Turkmenistan's achievements in innovative technologies, as well as to establish cooperation and improve the quality of their products to international standards”.
The President emphasized that "forum delegates will be able to learn about Turkmenistan's overall economic development indicators, its investment strategy, industrial and innovative development, the introduction of scientific and technical developments and the latest technologies, the country's economic potential, and its achievements over the years of independence”.
The head of Turkmenistan noted that "ensuring the country's sustainable socioeconomic development is linked to economic diversification, the efficient use of the country's abundant natural and raw material resources, the growth of private sector production in various fields, and increased investment in innovative industries and modern industrial and manufacturing projects."
Over 500 delegates from 45 countries have registered for the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2025, which will run from September 18-19. Over 100 international speakers are scheduled to speak.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, with the assistance of Turkmen Congress.
