President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the people of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the sacred Night of Omnipotence - Gadyr Gidjesi, symbolizing the prosperity and spiritual purification of the month of Oraza.
In his address, published on March 26 in the central media of our country, the President emphasized the enduring value of the national heritage and traditions that unite generations and contribute to the harmonious development of society. He noted the special veneration by the Turkmen people of the month of Oraza and the Gadyr Gidjesi as a time of mercy and spiritual renewal.
“I am convinced that the grace of this great Night, having strengthened the unity and cohesion of our society, will inspire us to achieve new, high levels in the further development of the Fatherland!” Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted.
The congratulations talk about holding charity events and prayers, including in new mosques for the prosperity of the Homeland and peace throughout the world. Following the principles of humanism, an amnesty for convicts was declared in the International Year of Peace and Trust.
The President emphasized that “to build and create is the path to progress, our movement to new heights and sovereign statehood. This path, laid from the most sublime and noble dreams of our great ancestors, allowed us to reach these happy days. We are constantly modernizing our economy, relying on creative work, our great love for the Motherland and our programs that provide for the socio-economic development of our country for decades to come”.
“The construction of new, modern villages and cities, combining industrial, engineering and social facilities, continues at an accelerated pace, which contributes to increasing the potential of our sovereign Motherland and further improving the living conditions of our people”, the head of Turkmenistan noted.
"In the future, we will continue to do great things for the sake of well-being, prosperity and happiness, building new powerful enterprises, production centers, modern cities and villages. We will continue to strengthen our relations with all nations along the path of peace, friendship, brotherhood and cooperation," Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.
