Prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in various economic sectors, including energy, infrastructure and investment, were discussed in Ashgabat at a meeting of the management of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan with a delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development headed by Chief Executive Officer Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Mashrad.

Particular attention during the talks was paid to the implementation of joint projects aimed at the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan.

As a result of the meeting, important documents were signed that are designed to strengthen economic ties between the two countries. The signed agreements provide for the provision of new credit lines and financial support to Turkmenistan for the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.

The visit of the delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development to Turkmenistan was another confirmation of the high level of bilateral relations and the desire of the two countries to further deepen cooperation, the International Information Center of Turkmenistan notes.
