The President of Turkmenistan approved the Work Plans of the country's oil and gas complex for 2025

On January 3, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, where a number of priority issues of state life were considered, TDH reports.
During the government meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the draft Work Plans for 2025 of the industry departments of the oil and gas sector.
According to these plans, the State Concerns "Turkmengas" and "Turkmennebit" have outlined tasks for the deep development of oil and gas fields, the production of natural and associated gas, oil and gas condensate, the production of liquefied gas, the export of Turkmen "blue fuel", as well as deep oil refining and the supply of oil products to domestic and foreign consumers.
The State Corporation "Turkmengeology" plans to carry out activities to identify oil and gas-rich formations, search for solid minerals and groundwater, increase their reserves, and widely introduce advanced scientific achievements and innovative technologies into production.
Along with this, the main tasks include the phased development of the Galkynysh gas field, which occupies one of the leading places in the world in terms of "blue fuel" reserves, and the construction of an important link in the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline - the Serhetabat-Herat section, called "Arkadagyň ak ýoly".
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the fuel and energy sector is one of the key segments of the national economy. In this regard, it is necessary to increase the production potential of specialized enterprises, introduce modern technologies and take comprehensive measures in this direction. Having approved the presented Work Plans for the oil and gas complex, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to carry out the relevant work.
