The results of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan for eleven months of 2024 have been summed up

At the reporting meeting held on December 7 in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, the results of the industry's enterprises for eleven months of the year «The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Pyragy» were summed up. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the country's oil and gas complex at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on December 6, and also considered specific ways to further advance work in this direction.

Opening the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov emphasized that thanks to the attention and support of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the oil and gas industry is being systematically and consistently improved, its material and technical base is being modernized. In this regard, the Vice-Chairman noted the importance of effectively solving the tasks set for the domestic fuel and energy complex.  During the meeting, the State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmengas» Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmennebit» Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as the heads of associations, departments, organizations and enterprises of the complex presented reports on the work done over the past eleven months of this year. 

The speeches included information on the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, uninterrupted supply of industrial and other facilities with natural gas in the winter, geological exploration using digital technologies and modern equipment, continued work on the introduction of innovative scientific and technical developments in the country's oil and gas industry, the implementation of appropriate measures to further improve the work of the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern «Turkmengas», preparations for the upcoming state holidays and other equally important areas. 

 Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov noted the importance of constant monitoring of major projects implemented in the country's oil and gas sector, expanding the range of innovative technologies in the industry, as well as timely fulfillment of production plans. In this regard, specific tasks facing the State Corporation «Turkmengas», «Turkmennebit» and the state corporation «Turkmengeology» were identified. 

At the reporting meeting, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues Ashyrguly Begliyev, emphasizing the priority areas in the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan, voiced his proposals for further increasing the pace of development of the fuel and energy complex.
